Fabric Flowers

I decided to make the ‘Big Felt Flower’

1. With some felt and and a 5 1/2 inch circle template, this flower is an easy design.
2. I cut 5 circles, a dark colour for the back and a lighter colour for the flower. These I cut out with ‘pinking shears’.
3. The circles are folded into quarters and stitched into place one at a time.
4. For the center, I made a small pom pom. Which was also stitched into place and trimmed to look even.
5. The result is a lovely flower to be used as decoration on a bag I have made.
